Forget divisions, conferences etc… if all the NBA players past or present were playing right now in the peak of their form who would make you’re starting 5.
Oh, it’s easy for me.
Point Guard: Magic Johnson.
Shooting Guard: Kobe Bryant.
Small Forward: Larry Bird.
Power Forward: Charles Barkley.
Centre: Shaquille O’Neal.
(I’ve sat on this and thought to come back on it and I can’t work out if I’d start Barkley or potentially grab Chris Webber.)
Bench: Michael Jordan, Derrick Rose, Wilt Chamberlin, Lebron James & Dominique Wilkins.

interesting argument ensues – Where was Rodman his best. Detroit or Chicago? I’ll take Detroit. Chris Paul would defin make my 2nd team, Pippen would be close between him and Garnett. Iverson as well would be in my 2nd team.
either or with rodman, in both places he gave you MEGA defensive effort and monstered the boards.
you always need complimentry players like that on your team.

i would have durant on my second team for sure.
if u were basing your team purely on stats then yeah iverson, if u were making it about actually winning games and being a coheisive unit then iverson wouldnt make my 5th team. no one on your second team would see the ball with iverson running the point
I’m still loving Iverson for effort.
The guy was a steal machine and in some parts he gave you assists. But, I’d want him to get me points. Durant not so much, I’d take Mello at Small before Durant. I’ll have to do my 20 one of these days 🙂

Are we talking about Isiah T? from Detroit??? hmmm… He was good – Jordo was the reason that he never made it to the Dream Team right? Jordan hated him and said he wouldn’t go if Isiah was there… So both wouldn’t play well together 🙂 Also, you give no shout out to Kobe ???? I would want him out there for his offence… Imagine him getting a pass from Magic… Kareem Valid point … Duncan we are odds about… Shaq out there for me over Kareem any day…. Same as Kobe… Bird is the 3 point machine that we need though.
